December 12th, 2010 - Legendary Head Coach Dave Walker and The Martinsburg Bulldogs(14-0) win their first state title over The Brooke Bruins(11-3) 30-0.
December 3rd, 2011 - The Martinsburg Bulldogs(14-0) defeat The George Washington Patriots(13-1) 35-27 to be back-to-back state champions along with defeating arguably the best prep football player, future D1 All-American, and NFL professional Ryan Switzer and veteran head coach Steve Edwards Jr.
December 7th, 2013 - The Martinsburg Bulldogs(13-1) go on to 4-peat as state champions with defeating The Huntington Highlanders(13-1) 9-7. 5th year Head Coach Billy Seals and The Highlanders were the closest team of the decade to beating The Bulldogs for the state title.
November 29th, 2014 - The Capital Cougars(14-0) became the only in-state team of the decade to dethrone The Martinsburg Bulldogs(11-2) 35-7 in the semifinals. The Cougars would go on to beat The South Charleston Black Eagles(12-2) 55-15 in the state title alongside Kennedy Award Winning Runningback Kashuan Haley.
December 5th, 2015 - The Wheeling Park Patriots(12-1-1) defeating defending state champions, The Capital Cougars(13-1) and Kennedy Award Winning Quarterback Tyrhee Pratt 23-15 giving Wheeling Park their first-ever state title.
December 7th, 2019 - The Martinsburg Bulldogs(14-0) defeated The Cabell Midland Knights(13-1) 49-21 for their 4th straight title as well as a historic 56 game winning streak. Shortly after that, in his 22 year Head Coach Dave Walker took his head coaching responsibilities to Concord University where 2020 will be his first year in the program.
November 30th, 2012 - Veteran Head Coach Tom Harmon and The Wayne Pioneers(14-0) go back-to-back state champions as they defeated Keyser(12-2) 35-0.
December 3rd, 2015 - The Bridgeport Indians(13 wins and 1 tie) 3-peat as state champions defeating The Tolsia Rebels(39-0).
December 2nd, 2016 - Veteran Head Coach Yogi Kinder guides The Mingo Central Miners(14-0) to their first-ever state championship since becoming a program in 2011 over The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears(10-3) 32-7 with the help of dual-threat Kennedy Award Winning Quarterback Jeremy Dillon. This would also be Coach Kinder's last year coaching due to retiring.
December 1st, 2017 - 31st year Head Coach Freddy Simon leads Bluefield(14-0) to a hard faught battle over The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears(12-2) 29-26 with Kennedy Award Winner Runningback Mookie Collier and Fullback Truck Edwards. Edwards also made ESPN SportsCenter Top 10 Plays for his bruising running attack.
November 30th, 2018 - 2nd Year Head Coach Nick Bartic and The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears(14-0) win their first-ever SSAC State Championship over The Bluefield Beaver(12-2) 23-13 alongside one of the best prolific quarterbacks in state history with Kennedy Award Winning Quarterback Connor Neal.
December 6th, 2019 - The Bridgeport Indians(13-1) upset The Bluefield Beavers(12-2) for the state title. The Indians only loss came to The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears(12-1) in the regular season 34-15. Many thought The Polar Bears would repeat as state champions until The Beavers went on to beat them 40-24 in the semifinals.
December 3rd, 2011 - The Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights(13-1) repeat as state champions over The Williamstown Yellowjackets(13-1) 35-21.
December 6th, 2014 - Veteran Head Coach Terry Smith and The Williamstown Yellowjackets(12-2) win their first-ever state title 33-32 playing in 3 overtimes over The St. Marys Blue Devils(13-1).
December 3rd, 2016 - The St. Marys Blue Devils(14-0) defeats The East Hardy Cougars(13-1) 23-8 to win their first-ever state title.
December 7th, 2019 - Legendary Head Coach Mike Young and The Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights(10-4) defeat The Doddridge County Bulldogs(13-1) 38-21 to win their 5th state title of the decade. The Maroon Knights came in as the underdogs with injuries facing a undefeated team to that point with the best running back in class A in Hunter America.
